How did you get started in the industry?
I started doing OnlyFans back in 2019. I know this sounds crazy, but since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to do sex work so as soon as I was old enough I started doing it.
What's your zodiac sign(s), and does it/they resonate with you?
Aquarius Sun, Leo Moon and Rising. They resonate me so deeply. No offense to all the baddies, but truly all of the baddest bitches I have ever met were also Aquarius and one of the key attributes of being an Aquarius is having a deep sense for advocacy and a need to stick up for what you believe in. This is truly why I believe I am so passionate about my activism and speaking up for the disenfranchised and fighting against corporate greed and all other forms of oppression. I also deeply resonate with my Leo Moon and Rising because while my stage/internet persona is an overly confident, sure of herself badass, in my real life I’m much more insecure, but being able to put on my pleasers and turn into Marci every weekend lets me channel the Leo energy I know I contain.
Tell us about your favorite shift or customer ever!
This was early on into my career. I’d maybe been dancing 18 months at this podunk club off of I-80 in a small town in Nebraska with a population of maybe 200. It was a slow ass weekday shift. Maybe only four girls in the club and no customers. It was so slow that we had the lights on and all of us were taking turns teaching each other tricks on the stage when suddenly a man who couldn’t have been older than 25 entered the club. Immediately, I knew this man was going to pick me. The emo haircut and all black fit lended itself to my very alternative appearance at the time. We started the rotation, he tipped every single girl with $20 bills. One of my coworkers got him to sit with her and everytime I went on stage he would get up and tip me. Eventually, my coworker got up and I decided to see if I could make a sale. After some delightful banter and light therapizing, he asked what the most expensive dance was and said he wanted that. Little did he know that the most expensive item on the menu was a 15 minute long mutual masturbation session (Laws in Nebraska have since changed, but it used to be wild out there). We go back to the room, I sit him down, vibrator in hand, and he instructs me to put it down, put on my robe and asks if we can just sit and talk. We spent the whole dance just yapping about life and our beliefs and music and anything that came to mind. He tipped me handsomely, said goodbye, and proceeded to come back to see me every week for a few months straight. Sometimes even bringing his laptop and snacks so we could watch movies. Do you have any pets? We love pets, please tell us about them!
I don’t!! But I am a stepmother to my partner’s beautiful jet black manecoon, named Orlok. He’s absolutely beautiful and loves to play and loves getting scratches on the head specifically by acrylic nails.
How have you made yourself stand out when working?
One of the main things that helps me stand out at the club is my music taste and knowledge. I went to college to study music journalism along with women’s and gender studies and my ability to recommend music to anyone regardless of what genre they enjoy has made me so much money in this line of work.
What is your funniest story related to work?
While I was working at another small town Nebraska club I became familiar with the regular attendees and among them was an older married couple whose names I’ll keep to myself, but they were such a delight. They’d come in every weekend and their dynamic was so fun. The husband was a very submissive man and would allow the girls to slap him and spank him at work. One day I decided to bring my own paddle because I knew they’d be there and as the token muscle mommy of the club I had to leave a lasting impact, literally. With a crowd surrounding us, I bent this man over a table and started wailing on him, so hard that the paddle broke at the hilt. I had him sign it and I’m pretty sure it still hangs in the office of that club to this day.
What are some of your favorite things and hobbies outside of work?
My main hobbies are almost all physical activity. I love doing yoga and lifting weights and going on long walks outside. I also adore thrifting and trying local coffee shops. I attend as many concerts as I can because live music is truly where my heart is. In addition to all that I also really enjoy video games and have been playing Dark Souls this year.
What is a goal you’re proud you were able to reach while doing and because of SW?
Achieving financial independence as a young woman. My family disowned me for a few years when they found out I was a sex worker, but because of sex work I never needed to rely on them or ask them for assistance and that is truly the best thing SW has done for me. Having the feeling of complete independence is life changing.
What is something you feel needs to change in the industry?
SO MUCH. but the thing I am most passionate about demanding change for is eradicating house fees and tip outs for security. If your strip club can’t make enough fucking money (cover charges, drinks, atm fees, et.) without me paying you then you shouldn’t be operating. I also think the industry standard of tipping out security is fucking atrocious. No matter how professional your security may be, they will always favor protecting the girls that pay them the most and truthfully if the strip club isn’t paying them a living wage that’s a whole other problem, they shouldn’t be getting paid from tips.
There is a lot of talk nowadays about sex work being “empowering.” Is this true for you and why or why not?
Sex work isn’t empowering in the slightest. Sex work is work. Work is Labor. Labor is not empowering. Labor is a symptom of capitalism. Sex work can enable you to become more empowered in your day to day and personal life, but it isn’t empowering and anyone selling you this narrative is still on their way to achieving full class consciousness.
What is your best tip for making money at work?
Talk to EVERYONE. and unfuckingfortunately, smile more. even if you want to skin these men alive, smile.
What's your favorite colors / styles / accessories to wear at work?
I am a leopard print SLUT. When I’m feeling skinty I always prefer microkinis, but I also love my Smokeshow Sling Onesies like I swear to god I have never work anything more flattering. My favorite accessories are my Louis Vuitton Coussin Bag, BIG ass silver hoops, and a rosary if I’m feeling spicy.
Do you have any industry "life hacks" to share?
Track everything. I’m so serious girl. Start that fucking spreadsheet, track every dollar you make, every dollar you spend, everything you spend money on outside of work that helps you with work, and track the music you dance to, the outfits you wear, your makeup, your hair, etc. data is knowledge and knowledge is power and this is a power game.
How can customers make you feel spoiled, appreciated, and respected?
spend money and shut the fuck up.
What has been your biggest challenge in the industry and how do you cope with that?
The biggest challenge with being a part of this industry for me personally has been navigating relationships of all kind. I’ll never be as close with my family again, I always feel as though I have to hide this part of my life from strangers and acquaintances, and don’t even get me started on what it was like dating when I was single. The societal perception of a sex worker has shifted with the normalization of OnlyFans, but living in the midwest it still feels dangerous to be open about what I do for a living. To cope, I surround myself with other people in the industry across the country and travel and remind myself that I am not the problem and what I do isn’t the problem, it’s these old fashioned bigoted ideas that people succumb to that are the problem. also therapy.

From day one in the strip club I wanted to be just like this absolutely queen named Luna. She was a fucking spitfire on the pole as she was a former gymnast and still was built like one. She’d been dancing for over five years when I first met her. She danced to heavy metal and slammed her heels on stage and walked men around the room on their hands and knees and I was in awe of her. I truly adopted so much of her stage presence as a baby dancer and cannot thank her enough for showing me to never tolerate disrespect from a trick.
What do you wish people knew about us, and about you personally as a SWer?
That we’re just people. This is just a job. It really has nothing to do with sex and promiscuity. It’s just another way to make a living and it’s been a valid way to make a living a lot fucking longer than being a silicon valley AI dickrider.
How have you dealt with the stigma of being out as a SW, if you’ve faced any?
Again, therapy. And just understanding that a random judgmental person’s perception of me truly has nothing to do with me and a lot to do with them and their internalized shame at the end of the day.
What are your plans for the future (can be related to the industry or not!)?
My dream is to just grow old with my lover and spend our time traveling the world and going to shows together. But in the more immediate future I hope to become a full time pole instructor or personal trainer for pole dancers and strippers and anyone who fucks with me and what I stand for. I never really want to leave the club, but I don’t want to be dependent on it either.
What advice would you give younger you, if you could, both work related and in general?
Don’t do this. Go to college or get a job or find a skill or something you’re passionate about, but if you do, save your money, never tell anyone how much money you make, and never forget you’re worthy of everything you’ve ever wanted.
