DECEMBER 2025: MARILYN 💖

What’s your name?
Marilyn
What part(s) of the industry do you work in?
Entertainer
What's your zodiac sign(s), and does it/they resonate with you?
Sun Taurus, Rising Scorpio & Moon Aries. They resonate with me perfectly.
How have you made yourself stand out when working?
I’ve made myself stand out by having confidence and dancing seductively on stage while engaging with the whole room. Do it properly, and you have every one wrapped around your finger.
What are some of your favorite things and hobbies outside of work?
I like to long board, snowboard, anything art, bake, go shooting, trying new restaurants and food.
What is something you feel needs to change in the industry?
I feel the way Entertainers hold themselves should change. I believe there’s a stigma on dancers because of how many women act or dress. If we all held ourselves to a higher standard, we would be perceived with a lot more respect as a whole.
What is your best tip for making money at work?
Being genuinely happy to be there (or at least act like it). Men are more drawn to women who are always smiling.
What's your favorite colors / styles / accessories to wear at work?
I like to wear a lot of pink, purple, and anything with sparkles. I like to add a cute chain belt or body chain jewelry. It tends to look good on stage with the lights too!
Do you have any industry "life hacks" to share?
Make friends with the security and tip everyone generously. Like the scene in GoodFellas, people will respect you and they won’t forget you. They will go out of their way to keep you safe, make sure you’re good and it will make your life much easier when encountering problems in the club.
What has been your biggest challenge in the industry and how do you cope with that?
Dealing with rejection. Even if you’re one of the most attractive in the room, it happens and it feels terrible, especially when you’re half nude. I tend to “flip the script” to cope with this. When you approach a man and he hits you with the, “I’m good” or “no thanks”, I say back to them “oh no worries babe, you’re not my type. I just wanted to tell you you had something stuck on your shirt”, (pretend to pluck something off) then smile and walk away. Works like a charm, they no longer have the power to reject you and they feel stupid. Voilà
What are your plans for the future (can be related to the industry or not!)?
I would like to buy an island, raise a family and disappear from society. Especially at the rate the worlds going.
What advice would you give younger you, if you could, both work related and in general?
Trust is earned, not given. There are a lot of people, in the industry and customers, who do not have good intentions. If you trust the wrong people, you will be put in dangerous situations that you may not be able to get out of. Be careful who you befriend and date while being an entertainer and always make sure someone who cares about you (family, friend etc) always has your location. As beautiful as we make this industry look, it’s an extremely dangerous profession. Most of us didn’t start working at clubs because we thought it would be fun. It was a decision made based on survival most of the time.
