Whatâs your name?Â
Olivia
.
What part(s) of the industry do you work in?
Dayshift Dancer & OF Model
.
How did you get started in the industry?
At 19 this girl and I found out we were both talking to the same guy, she happened to be a dancer I had been working at Party City and Starbucks. She befriended me we both ditched the guy and nearly 15 years later here we are đ€Ș
.

What's your zodiac sign(s), and does it/they resonate with you?
Virgo Sun, Virgo Moon, Capricorn rising and YES Iâm the text book definition of a Earth Sign.
.
Tell us about your favorite shift or customer ever!
When I was working in Vegas I had a dairy rancher from Texas that take me to the sky lounge and fell asleep on my lap within 10 minutes. The waitress came by to ask if he wanted to do another hour and he goes âyeah! I fell asleep through it all letâs go againâ this happened 3-4x.
.
Do you have any pets? We love pets, please tell us about them!
I have an 11 year old Pomeranian American Eskimo Mix.She was named after the great Iggy Azaela, she LOVES Visting her naked aunties and she is Tales From The Stripâs and Boogies biggest fan đ
.

How have you made yourself stand out when working?
I dance very off brand music for the club. Perfect day by hoku, Sk8r Boi by Avril Lavine, Wannabe by spice girls. Anything that a customer would be able to say âhey thatâs the girl that danced to the weird musicâ.
.
What are some of your favorite things and hobbies outside of work?
I read A LOT (100 books last year) and hike at least a few times a week.
.
What is a goal youâre proud you were able to reach while doing and because of SW?
I got to travel a lot of the world in my early 20s, I saw almost every US state and 13 countries I never could have done that working any other job. Most importantly Iâve become financially independent! My bills are paid 2 months in advance, I have money in the bank and can feel comfortable not working as much as I used too.
.

There is a lot of talk nowadays about sex work being âempowering.â Is this true for you and why or why not?
For me it has been, Iâve always had pretty intense body dysmorphia and learning Iâm not only attractive but can make money off my attractiveness did wonders to my confidence.
.
What is your best tip for making money at work?
SMILE, learn a little something about all the main âboyâ hobbies to have talking points on, match tones, and stay sober.
.
What's your favorite colors / styles / accessories to wear at work?
Iâm a PINK girl, 95% Iâm in my angel candy microâs.
.

Do you have any industry "life hacks" to share?
Tattoo numbing cream on your knees (at least an hour before your shift) and bottom of your feet help with foot pain đ€Ż
.
How can customers make you feel spoiled, appreciated, and respected?
Not negotiating prices, respecting boundaries and spoiling without having to ask đ
.
What has been your biggest challenge in the industry and how do you cope with that?
Definitely comparing myself to others. One thing Iâve learned is that even though another girl may be sporting name brand bags & driving nice cars doesnât mean there doing better than you. More often than not the ones not flexing are the ones with the most in the bank.
.
We all have a story about a babe in the industry who we loved and were inspired by from the moment we met her- tell us about her/them:
Kali from Tales was my first industry girl crush đ I remember watching her dance to ICP and talking shit yo customers and thinking âomg sheâs so authentic to herself, thatâs hotâ.
.

What do you wish people knew about us, and about you personally as a SWer?
As a dayshift dancer Iâve gotten âwhy donât you work nights youâd make so much more!!â So many times. The stigma that dayshift girls are just washed out night shift girls is weird and wrong. If anything the dayshift hustle is easier to transfer over to nights than vice versa. Making a bag with 4 customers in the building takes a difference skillset than making a bag on a packed Saturday night and you get to be in bed by 9pm!
.
How have you dealt with the stigma of being out as a SW, if youâve faced any?
I hid being a dancer for like 2 weeks when I started in 2011, after that Iâve been super open about it. Sometimes I donât tell people right away and bring it up later and always get the whole âomg you donât seem like a stripper!â
.
What advice would you give younger you, if you could, both work related and in general?

You are very beautiful and your advice in my opinion was great, even for a trans swâer like myself that has severe body dysmorphia and is always comparing myself to other trans women. Thank you so much for a wonderful interview. Skylar
