Kinseyy Shane
What do you do/what part(s) of the biz do you work in?
I have been webcamming since I turned 18 almost 8 years! I also make fetish/domme clips and I’ve also stripped before. I’m a well-rounded sw lol
If you’ve worked in more than one aspect of SW, which is your favorite and why?
My favorite is making fetish clips. A lot of them aren't very time-consuming and I always make sure to carefully select what videos I do because if I’m not having fun the videos aren’t gonna look good! I’ve done everything from blowing up balloons to burping and I’ve had fun with all of them.
How have you made yourself stand out when working?
I’m super sweet and innocent looking but I’m very dominant and it throws people off sometimes but it’s what makes me stand out the most and I love wearing cutesy outfits then shocking men once they get to know me lol and angel candy shop outfits are perfect for this!
What do you wish people knew about us (SWers), and about you personally as a SWer?
Every cam site or subscription site like onlyfans takes a huge cut. The highest cut I’ve seen was the model gets 35% so the site took 65%! Just like every strip club has a house fee every site takes a percentage. Sometimes we have to charge a lot but it’s so that we can get paid what we deserve after the cuts and taxes. Oh, also every cam model has to pay taxes lol don’t forget to do your taxes!
What is something you feel needs to change in the industry?
I would love to see more sw owned clubs and webcam sites. I just think it makes sense, sworkers know exactly what it’s like to be in the industry and they know what we need more than anyone else would. I’m always so excited when I get to work with fellow or past sworkers they know exactly what it’s like to walk in our heels.
What is your best tip for making money at work?
Don't ever be afraid to ask! Always ask for a dance, ask for the private, and always ask for a tip. There are so many times I have been at the club and I see girl after girl go up to the same guy and not seal the deal and then I go up and all I did was ask, and now we are sitting in an hour long private. That’s my best advice because if you don’t ask the answer is always no, so I’ll take my chances with rejection every time just to hopefully make the sale!
What has been your biggest challenge in the industry?
Staying consistent! When you work for yourself it is very easy to take days off or not put 100% in but it’s the best thing you can do for your business. I have to keep a physical planner and make a cam schedule every week. My members know when to find me and that’s how I get a full cam room of all my favorite customers 😍 💰
Sw is exhausting physically, mentally, and emotionally- How do you decompress and engage in self-care in the face of that?
I sometimes have to turn off all social media for the weekend just to clear my head. That’s one of the reasons I started dancing was because I was so burnt out from being online all the time so it’s definitely hard but now I schedule myself days off and I don’t do any online work those days and it’s helped a lot with the burnout. Also just being outside with the fresh air lol if you’re stuck in the club all day or online I can’t tell you how good just some fresh air can feel, so make sure to go out regularly whenever you can!
